How To Earn Your Pocket Knife
In Cub Scouts, a scout must be a Bear (3rd Grade), a Webelos (4th Grade) or an Arrow of Light (5th Grade) in order to earn their Pocket Knife.
Requirements



Requirement 1 - Read, understand, and promise to abide by the “Cub Scout Knife Safety Rules.”
Requirement 2 - Demonstrate the knife safety circle.
Requirement 3 - Demonstrate that you know how to care for and use your pocketknife safely.
Requirement 4 - Make two carvings with a pocketknife.

Picking out your knife
Once your Den Leader tells you that you have earned your Pocket Knife
you and your parent can pick out the one you want.
